An early training in fashion, that included working with Zandra Rhodes and Kaffe Fassett, clearly gave rise to her exuberant stitched descriptive textile art.
Her joy of stitching can be described as vibrant both in colour and gesture always based on perceptive water colour drawings of her varied subject matter from portraits of people to her own pet birds.
