Bought at Maison Antoine, The Old Brussells Lace in 1970’s Shop founded in 1850, 26 Grand Place.
I had only gone into the shop ‘to look’ but noticed this piece at the equivalent of £30. In fact the correct price should have had another zero. The shopkeeper on finding that I was an embroiderer said she felt that an embroiderer should benefit from someone’s mistake and that I should own it.
