Following both a FDA in Hand Embroidery at The Royal School of Needlework in 2013 and a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Craft at Falmouth University in 2014 her use of traditional hand embroidery techniques using gold, silver and copper threads have now evolved into unique and personal contemporary works of art.
She has exhibited widely in major shows the most recent The Embroiderers’ Guild Retrospective Show at the Knitting & Stitching Shows 2023.
Teaching and Speaking extensively in the UK with a calendar that now includes tours booked for Australia in 2024 and Canada in 2025.
Awards include:
- 2023 Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QUEST) Worshipful Company of Broderers Scholar
- 2014 Embroiderers’ Guild Graduate Showcase prize
- Commissions include major projects for hotels, restaurants and private clients
