A well known and much admired artist, lecturer and organiser within the annual Textile Tent at Art in Action, Waterperry, Oxfordshire – founded in 1977 – regular demonstrator since 1983 and Head of Textiles since 2010
Significant commissions include the Oncology Building of Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Student Union Atrium at Sheffield University – additionally many pieces are in private collections
Hand embroidery is combined with a fluent use of the Irish machine metamorphosing her observational drawings into evocative landscapes
